In Room 4 we have been learning about simple fractions. We now know how to find a half, a quarter and one whole of a shape. To show our knowledge, we decided to make pretend pizza and cut it into different fractions.
Success Criteria:
- Understand what 'equal parts' mean.
- Know how many equal parts are needed to make halves and quarters.
I cut my pizza into quarters. I could give a piece of pizza to my mum, my dad, my sister and me.

That looks like a great pizza Michael. It is the colours of your favourite, the Hawaiian pizza. I can see you cut it into a round shape first and then into the even parts.
